How much does it cost?
The state knowledge test cost $40 for two times attempt. If you fail for the first try, you have the second time to remake it for free.
Am I qualified to take the written examination?
To take the state written exam, you must be at least 15 years old
If you have a permit waiver or are presently enrolled in driver's ed, you must have completed the course
Washington state ID number is required (free to get one)
Which languages are available for the knowledge test?
It is always possible to take the state knowledge test in English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese. Languages are always accessible; you don't need to make a specific request for one.

40 questions with multiple choices
You must properly answer at least 32 questions on a paper test to succeed.
